The Indian Institute of Planning
& Management was established in the year 1973 by Dr. Malay
Chaudhuri, former Professor at IIM-B and XLRI, Jamshedpur. Dr. Malay is
a known visionary leader who came up with the idea of IIPM during that
era so as to change the way education was looked at in India. Ever
since then; IIPM has been successfully imparting world class education
to students across the nation nearly for the last four decades. At
present, IIPM has expanded tremendously with eighteen campuses across
the nation.
IIPM is a revolution in the field of
management education initiated by Dr. Malay Chaudhuri and is being
carried forward by Prof. Arindam Chaudhuri, Honorary Dean (Centre for
Advanced Economics and Research Studies).
